My computer is a few years old. I was running the following
Gigabyte G1.Sniper z97
GeForce gtx 960
Thermaltake tough power 850w 80+ gold
G.skill 8gbxl ddr3 (2)
WD 1tb SATA 64mb cache
And honestly I'm not very proficient nor can I remember what all I out in this thing.
In any case, one day recently I discovered that I was no longer getting video output. Upon booting the inboard motherboard display stalls at AE.
The video card fans will begin running and then turn off. I have removed the video card with the same result initially, but now able to consistently access BIOS to select boot device as long as it doesn't fly so fast through boot up that I don't have time to go to bios.
We can run Ubuntu from a USB drive. We can see the remaining drives but cannot access them.
