[SOLVED] "Boot selection failed" error after cloning ?

Based on forum's suggestion, I bought a crucial 250GB SSD and have "successfully" cloned current HDD onto it. But when I replaced HDD with SSD, the laptop threw this message - "boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible".
I'm using windows 7, laptop is lenovo G460. I used Acronis true image for cloning. This is how HDD and SSD (the bottom one) currently look.

SSD is 250GB and HDD is 320GB but I barely use 50GB.

Solution
That was not a "successful" clone operation.

On Disk 1, the 218GB partition is identified as RAW.
That SHOULD contain the contents of the C drive, but does not.
There is no "Windows" on that drive.

Return the system back to original config, without the new SSD.
Does it boot up?

Cloning doesn’t always work, particularly on laptop OEM installs.

best course of action would be to do a clean install of windows 10 on to the new drive. I’m not sure if upgrading from 7 to 10 is still free? I think it should be.

do the upgrade to windows 10 on the old drive, then once windows 10 is activated, do a clean install of windows 10 from usb on to the new drive.

remove the old HDD when doing the fresh install to the new SSD

Thanks USAFet, I deleted some more files from HDD and also defragmented it (not sure if that matters). And tried a fresh cloning and that worked! I'm trying this from laptop with SSD. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
