I got my Samsung 500Gb 970 Evo m.2 drive today and was looking forward to installing it into my system, after installing and going into the bios the old SSD that I used to boot up windows didn't show up at all. I couldn't load into windows to see what was going on with my drives since my boot SSD was the one not showing up, but the weirdest thing was when I took out my M.2 the SSD showed up again and I could use my PC as I usually would. I was wondering what could cause my boot SSD to disappear like that when I install my M.2.
Relevant Specs:
Motherboard: B450 Tomahawk Max
M.2 drive: Samsung Evo 970 500Gb
SSD boot drive: 120GB Kingston (Don't remember the exact model, a pretty crappy old SSD that someone gave to me some time ago)
