I was cleaning out my PC to get rid of dust as I hadn't done it in a while. Whilst doing this I unplugged my hard drive so that I could get better reach of some of the dust. Only problem is I started my PC up forgetting to plug the HDD back in.

Everytime I boot up my PC I get the error message :

Your PC/Device needs to be repaired
The boot configuration data for your PC is missing or contains errors

File: \EFI\Microsodt\Boot\BCD

"You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device) contact your PC administrator or PC/Device manufacturer"

I've plugged my HDD back in and the error still occurrs. Does this mean I have corrupt my hard drive??

(My PC boots from an SSD and not the HDD I unplugged if this helps.)

Check boot sequence in BIOS. Even, if windows is installed on SSD, bootloader might be located on HDD.

I can't seem to find my SSD in the Bios. There's windows boot manager (which I'm assuming is the hard drive, im not sure though), Removable device, cd&dvd, and Lan.

However in boot options> Hard disk drive priority there are 2 windows boot managers. I've tried setting both of them as 1st priority but the same error still occurs
