I got this pile of sh*t working, here are the specs:

AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H
4GB Hynix DDR2 RAM
AMD Radeon HD7470
Cooler Master 500W PSU
160GB Seagate HDD

Everything is working in correct order, from clock speed to temperatures. But the time it took to boot up is...way too long. The CPU isn't that bad to have horrible boot times. Help plz.

Also, when I use it to do normal tasking such as web browsing or light gaming ( LoL ). Sometimes, the screen freezes for 2 seconds then continues. It happens frequently. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

would not be a good idea as its not supported by Microsoft anymore should try Ubuntu that might help. a fresh windows 7 install will help also.

Will downgrading to windows XP help? Sounds old as hell but, maybe it will improve performance for potatoes?
