Question boot

hello i need help, i tried to install win xp on my pc but when i enter bios and select to boot from usb and save that, black screen apear and white underscore is blinking, so i was lookin for some solutions and found bootrec.exe, but the problem is when i type bootrec.exe commqnd to cmd it tells me “bootrec.exe isnt name of internal or extrrnal command.” or something like that, can somebody pls help me? sorry for my bad english

Bootrec.exe is not an XP command. You'll want to try bootcfg.exe, but I think that only works if you have an XP CD, Try a Google search on "Install XP from USB" and see if anything there helps.

How did you create the XP install USB?
