Hey everyone, first time posting here, looks like a great forum.
Got a question about the SATA raid support on my motherboard (MSI KT6V-LSR).
In the features, under the VIA 8237 Chipset part, it shows I have SATA raid 0 support. My question is, should this be bootable? Or is it going to be a software setup. I'd really like to boot onto the raid 0 setup.
Otherwise I'll just buy another wd800jb IDE and a hardware raid controller card. But I thought for the price of the card I might as well buy 2 SATA drives and run them in raid if they'd be bootable.
I've read up quite a bit on setting up raid and whatnot, just not finding anything saying if this raid 0 support on my motherboard should be bootable.
Thanks for the help, appreciate any feedback.
