Hi, I have a new SSD (Crucial CT1000BX500SSD1) and I plan on finally migrate to windows 10 (yes, I know...).
For some reason the Media Cretion Tool failed to create a bootable USB (maybe it's a problem with the USB, I don't know). Anyway, I tried the other option (DVD) so the tool could download the ISO, which it did. Now I plan to use "Rufus" to create a bootable USB.
My motherboard is very old, it's a GA-H55M-S2V (rev. 1.4), and I don't know which options should I use in Rufus (or if it's better to try a different USB with the Media Creation Tool).
I need someone to tell me exactly how to do it, so I don't <Mod Edit> things up.
I'm using Rufus 3.22, which is the latest version compatible with Windows 7.

Thanks in advance guys.

Why do you think that it failed making the USB?
Have you ever booted this system from usb, so that you know that it works and how to do it?
What exactly happens when you try to boot from the USB?

The only thing would be that you should select mbr boot method and not the UEFI, but if you make the usb on the mobo you want to boot it on it should select the right method automatically.
