I installed windows 7 on my mac but i couldnt right click or adjust volume, so i installed the bootcamp support software and it fixed some things but there still isnt sound and i cant right click or scroll with the trackpad. I have tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them several times. Is there anyway i can get the drivers to work? thanks for any help!

ok tried uninstalling bootcamp 5 and installing bootcamp 4 but it said newer boot camp available, so i manually uninstalled each driver then reinstalled them with the bootcamp 4 drivers, but it still doesnt work. Any idea? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm not really sure. Maybe installing Bootcamp 5 first and uninstalling might have screwed things up? This might be a silly question but did you install the bootcamp drivers on the mac side?

No it said when i installed bootcamp to install them on the windows side, and anyway they are all .exe files so i dont know if i could run them on the mac side. Also everything works on the mac side just not on the windows side.

Yeah that's right... it's been a while since I installed bootcamp. Did you try installing the 32bit version if you installed the 64bit version or visa versa? I don't know I have another machine that game me problems with bootcamp where it didn't recognize certain hardware.

Well it really depends on which Windows OS is installed on your computer. The 64 bit 32 bit is directly related to which CPU your computer has. 64 bit obviously handles more information quicker.

You can check which Windows OS is installed in your bootcamp by clicking start and then right clicking on computer, clicking properties.

64-bit does not do anything faster than 32-bit Win 7. 64-bit allows you to use more than 4GB of memory which can allow you to run more apps, more efficiently. Driver support for both versions are virtually identical.

What specific model of Mac is this? That has never been answered and with the info, it should be easy to locate the needed drivers for all devices, regardless of which version of Windows is used with Boot Camp.

I doknt know how to tell what specific model it is but it is a black macbook (I think they only made 1 black mabook) and it is running 10.6.8 snow leopard. when i try to download support software from the actual bootcamp application it says there i no software availiable, so i had to manually download it.

the serial number is: W87200NPYQ8 and that is the model info from the website.

MacBook (13-inch, Mid 2007)

Model Identifier: Model Number Configurations:
MacBook2,1 MB061xx/A 13.3"/D2.0G/2x512/80/Combo
MB062xx/A 13.3"/D2.16G/2x512/120/SD-DL
MB063xx/A 13.3"/D2.16G/2x512/160/SD-DL

Ok i installed windows 7 32 bit but now when i try to run the setup files it says it isnt designed for this version of windows. I guess it is for 64 bit. where can i get support software for 32 bit?

The first time i didnt because google chrome kept saying couldnt find web page, but it finnaly let me download it and it worked! thank you so much i have been trying to fix this for weeks!!

So i installed the drivers and they were eorking great for a few weeks, but now half of them arent working again! Do i have to reinstall them to get them working, or is there something else wrong?

I dont think the windows update is doing it becasue it hasnt updated anything in a couple weeks. It takes like ten seconds to right click. the sound is working but the volume buttons arent working, and every time i try to resume from sleep the screen is really dark and i have to force shut down and restart.
