I installed windows 7 on my mac but i couldnt right click or adjust volume, so i installed the bootcamp support software and it fixed some things but there still isnt sound and i cant right click or scroll with the trackpad. I have tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them several times. Is there anyway i can get the drivers to work? thanks for any help!

No, the OS X side works fine but i rarely use that side becasue it is super slow for some reason. Also i did let windows updates fully update.

Idk but the windows side is much faster than the OS X side has ever been. And i have almost nothing installed on the OS X side.

Yes all hardware works on the OS X side and all drivers work on that side. It doesnt really make a difference wether i plug in a mouse or not (although there is no delay when right clicking).

Understood. This is an odd one. I have seen the disappearing sound icon/volume control in the taskbar resolved by updating video and audio drivers. In your case, you should already be good to go. There are also some Windows Updates that can affect these functions. Is Windows fully up to date?

In Device Manager, is any device flagged as having any issues (like unable to load drivers)?

Also, I would go into the Control Panel /Power Options and disable both Sleep and Hibernate functions. Both of these functions can cause issues with Win 7 (you can search the forums for piles of these issues). Do this especially when using AC power.

Ok what you said about sound or video car drivers ight be whats causing it , but im not sure why. A while back i had a game installed and it ran fine, but recently it has said i have outdated video card drivers, and it cant run. I tried updating them, but it said they are fully up to date. Idk if that helps or not.

Nothing says it has driver issues or any other kind of issue in device manager. Also another strange thing is that it says plugged in and charging always. Even when it isnt plugged in. Disabling sleep or hibernate doesnt do anything.

That didnt fix any of the drivers. Normally I would just reinstall the drivers, but i want to find out why this is happenning so i dont have to reinstall them every few weeks.
