Booting Black Screen

I have had trouble recently with my PC booting up. As soon as it starts up it just goes to a black screen and gets stuck on the string "A2" and stays black. I used to unplug all of the ports in the motherboard and boot it up and then it would work. Now that isn't working at all. So I tried unplugging all of the ports, unplugging the power, hitting the power button to release any extra electricity, plugged the power and the monitor back in, and that didn't work. I tried booting it up and going straight into the bios, that also didn't work. Does anyone know what could be the problem here? I put a lot of money into this computer and I need it for college so I really need it to work.
