I am trying to make my pc dual boot mac OS X Yosemite and Windows 8.1 after creating a yosemite usb boot drive using Transmac with YosemiteZone.dmg. I also created a partition and entered bios to change the boot option to "First boot: USB HDD" but i am still booting into windows 8.1 and i tried to use different usb slots and even USB FDD, USB ZIP and USB CD ROM. PLEASE i need help.

hi

You have left out a lot of useful info about your system

Make & model of motherboard ?
Is this home built or from major manufacturer ?

If secure boot is enabled in uefi ( major brands make this the default)
Secure boot supports win 8 or 10. Red hat and a few other Linux distribution
Otherwise the boot options will be ignored

Is your motherboard on list of Mac OS X friendly motherboards?

I am pretty much sure my pc is mac os friendly. i have seen people run hackintosh with these specs. :'(

Running OSX on non Apple hardware is against the EULA, and therefore illegal to do. Lots of people do it, but don't go asking around on help forums of reputable sites for help doing something that is technically illegal.
