[SOLVED] Booting problems

This is my first time building a pc and once I launched it I got a message saying “Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot Device and press a key." I really don’t completely understand computers so I need help
I have a WB black SN750 m.2SSD

That is saying that it cannot find something to boot from. Like....Windows.
Have you installed an operating system?

Did you do this? If so, how?

Ok, first....give us a FULL rundown of all the parts you've assembled.
Make/model/size, etc.

Hopefully I understood your question right but I have a b450 Hdv mother board a ryzen 7 3800
Corsair vengeance lpx16GB Corsair CV series 650
XFX Radeon Rx 580 and the WB black SN750 SSD

You can install and run it for free, but there are some small restrictions.


You'll have to create a USB flash drive to install from. 8GB or larger.
Do you have another working PC around to use to create this?

OP will have to start with a BIOS update to support that 3800X if the board is old.
