[SOLVED] Booting

I have a 4 bay external hard drive connected via usb 3.0 to a Gigabyte GA-78LMT usb3 Motherboard and I can't seem to get it to boot from that drive. Any help would be appreciated !!

May we assume Windows?
Why are you trying to boot from an external USB drive? That is absolutely not a normal config.
It can be done, but you have to set it up that way during the OS install.

What are you actually wanting to do?
