When I booted up my pc this morning I got this error. I tried rebooting, tried all the fixes I could find online, IE:ran startup repair, booted into cmd prompt and run bootrec commands including rebuildbcd. I reformatted and ran a system image from 5/30 with same error. Did a clean install and no error, so I tried to rerun the system image and the error came back. I'm in desperate need of help as I need the info from the system image. I'm running Win 7 with a WD 250GB and a WD 1TB drive.

There are any number of rescue boot disk programs. I use Acronis True Image and Disk Director, both on the the same boot disk. You should be able to boot into a rescue disk program and save the info you need to either drive and then load windows back onto the other.

This is another good rescue disk program that I have and have used.
