Hello, I currently have two hard drives installed on my PC first running fine, however the second one is completely blank and is missing the 'BootMGr' file and appears with the press Ctrl,ALt+Del to restart.

I have already booted via a windows disk, system repair, and gone through the command promt options of trying to repair and create a new bootmgr none of which are working.

Does anyone have any other advice I could try or is there a way I could copy it from my other hard drive and paste it into the correct place on my second (running windows 7 atm)

Many thanks in advance

i use Hirens boot cd ... there is prog called partition saver allow you to copy and past boot mgr from one HDD to another and few fix and update for boot ... but i try this with new hard disks ..after clone boot partition from one hdd to another ...

Thanks for the quick responses guys, I had tried everything already except for that CD. I had done a re-install previously that failed, however I created a new partition and did it on that which seemed to work and I can now get on there, just have to find all the drivers that I need :)

Many thanks!
