I just bought a R7 370 GPU, but i have A4 3400 CPU...I know it could make a little bottleneck but today... When i got my gpu i pluged it in and installed the latest driver (official) i tried running Battlefield 3 on 64 player server and i was getting about 22 fps on low... I started panicking so i thought maybe it is just a full 64 server making a problem. Then i ran Far Cry 3 on medium-high settings it worked about 15-22 fps. I was very mad and i looked up my task manager and i found out that System Idle Process is using 80% cpu so that may be a problem. Btw i have WIndows 8.1

Now, im downloading Windows 7 (sorry for pirating) but i hope it wont work that slow with clean install and drivers.

Btw my old GPU was HD 6670 and bcs i saw that HD 6670 and R7 370 are using the same driver (15.7.1 on 21. of august 2015) i didnt remove it. But it removed itslef so i downloaded a new one and that happend.

So i need you to tell me if reinstalling windows to make sure there arent any hd 6670 based files that are [adjective removed] with my drivers and to fix that system idle process thing..I need you to tell me will it help.

Thanks in advance.

system idle process at 80% means the cpu is being used @20%
the a4 isnt really a gaming part its more for media playback and will crumple on most games due to low per core perfomance, low cache amount and low core count.
its pretty much the celleron of the amd range.

the gpu itself isnt that bad. it will manage 29fps high ultra@1080p if paired with a good cpu. on witcher 3.

1 last thing. i understand your frustrated but there are kids as young as 13 using this site so please moderate your language. 😉

Im not trying to promote pirating, but i dont have 200 dollars to spend on Windows 7 and thats just for one month then im going to download a free copy of Windows 10... And battlefield or far cry 3 are not cpu intensive games so my apu is not bottlenecking that much...maybe like 5-8 fps but thats nothing, its problem with my windows, i researched on forums and i found out i should update my bios (on Asrock A55M-DGS Motherboard) i updated it and games are still working the same, i was thinking maybe there are some settings from my last gpu and as i said gpu intensive games should run well with any dual core cpu from 2011 paired with a good gpu. And don't tell me i should buy new cpu, i know i should but i dont have any money right now so... Games should work just a bit slower than on some monster i7 cpu.

Windows 10 is not free, it only free upgrade for a legal and activated windows 7.
And a copied of windows 7 only around $100.

Are you running all pirated copied os, softwares and games? it probably all the malwares you got on your system.

True on a good Intel dual core i3/pentium, not your lowend AMD apu. 15-22 on FC3 sound right
