Hi,
So my CPU (i7-4790k) only supports 16 PCI-E lanes. I have a double GPU SLI setup as well as a PCI-E LAN Card because my on board port stopped working. Is it possible because both my GPUs are using 16 lanes, or should be at least, that it is limiting data transfer from the LAN port? Should I look into a M.2 WiFi card to eliminate this?
Specs:
CPU: i7-4790k @ 4.59 GHz
MOBO: ASUS Maximus VII Hero
RAM: 2x 8 GB Gskill 1866 MHz
GPU: 2x EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0
PSU: EVGA 850 G2
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 240M
