I bought a Montech Air 903 case a few days ago, and when I removed the tempered glass side panel, one of the screw rubber gaskets broke. This probably happened because I mistakenly removed the screws completely instead of just unscrewing them.

Is this rubber gasket very important and does it need to be replaced, or can I use the case without it?

In that case, I see no harm in a missing gasket. If you start to notice a vibration that might have been a preventative measure, but nothing that would damage the pc. Could they possibly be acting as an insulator for shock protection? Maybe someone with more experience can comment.

My thought was that it serves to protect against vibrations, yes, but I am not sure. This is the first case I've encountered where the screws are not supposed to come out completely and have these washers.
