first of let me tell you my specs.

GPU= Tuf gaming rx 7600 xt
CPU=AMD ryzen 5600g
PSU=MPG A750GF 750W ATX 80 Plus gold fully certified modular
Mobo= B550 Aorus elite ax v2 DDR4 -3200 wifi
SSD #1 = Samsung 980 PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, 500GB
SSD #2 = Kingston NV1 M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD, 1 TB
Ram = 32gb TForce DDR$

reason of the post:
I'm playing this asian old game (Ran online) but then i get this stuttering feel to it that whenever i play its not as smooth and its rly frustrating. I thought by upgrading my GPU to a better one which is the rx 7600 xt would solve the issue but somehow its still like that.

btw I use pingzapper to connect on asian server so i can play their game w/ no lag or delay, I have 900+mbps net here in canada so the issue is i dont think its rly lagging due to net issue but more like on system build issue. Im thinking bottlenecking but im not an expert, my solution is to maybe upgrade my cpu now to a better one but somehow im not fully convinced that it would solve the issue. Any thoughts? I lowered everything on the ingame settings and I have 3ple monitor, main is 165ghz and vertical is 75ghz and the one above is 60ghz. Pls help! thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You'd be in better predicaments if you had a Ryzen processor like the 5700X3D over your APU, which is a limiter in your build. To add, the platform you currently have would also benefit from a dual channel, tight latency DDR4-3600MHz ram kit.

Does the stuttering happen with other titles?

ran online is a game released in 2004 .
realistically this system can´t have any issues running it at max settings with high FPS .
that being said some old games don´t really run so well on modern hardware
and could offer better experience while played on older machines .

i would also try to run it on integrated gpu only
( 5600Gs gpu is in a ballpark of gtx 750Ti which was an entry level gaming gpu 10 years ago)
(see if this solves the issue)
but first make sure you have fast low latency ddr4 dual channel memory installed (3600MHz cl16)

but more than anything it seems to me like server issue indeed -
when i play cs2 for example
european servers offer me much less latency / input lag compared to say asian or NA servers .

also pingzapper may not always work properly , try to use exitlag maybe as well .

upgrading doesn´t really make any sense to me in this case
because 5600g should eat this game for breakfast .
in general if you play new titles as well than
yes 5700x3d or 5800x3d are great options for upgrade
but for this game only ? certainly not ... this will not solve the issue .

also i found this:
"In 2023, a few private server developers re-opened the game, but it is still unstable to play due to lack of old data. In the same year, Min Communications CEO Kim Byung-min issued a serious warning against illegal private servers and noted that the company has no plans to sell service rights or release a mobile version in the future"

it´s no surprise that you can run into all sorts of issues while
playing at unofficial not supported servers .
