Hey guys, I have been using these forum's for a while and decided to make an account.
I am building a new system and wanted to ask what my bottleneck (if any) is. I am on somewhat of a budget and am building this PC for gaming (BF3).

Any issues you see with this setup before I commit and buy?

You do not need 16 gig of RAM for gaming . 4 gig is enough . Games simply cant use more
For some future expansion then maybe 2 x4 gig is worthwhile .
Since you have a motherboard that can accept the new bulldozer cpu's that are being released next month you should probably also buy RAM that is compatible with Bulldozer . That means 1.5 volt .
2 x4 gig of 1.5 v [ or less ]

No point buying the 965 phenom either . Its the exact same part as a 955 but clocked 100MHz higher . With an unlocked multiplier you can make that change your self in under 60 seconds

Wow thanks for the quick reply. Since the game is not due to be released for another moth or so should I wait and buy the bulldozer CPU? would that be overkill?

I will loo around for 1.5v memory. I can't seem to find it on newegg I will look elsewhere. Thanks for your help!

you can search on newegg for memory speed , timings and voltage .
