[SOLVED] bottlenecking/fps loss help please

so i’ve been having an issue recently and i’m not sure how to solve it, my pc had been running games at around 120 fps but recently it has been dropping frames a lot, any thoughts? my parts have been running at the usual temperature but i’m not sure what’s up, any feedback would be apriciated
specs:
Motherboard: DQ77MK
CPU: i5-3570
RAM:Crucial Ballistix 1600mhz
GPU: Evega 980ti sc
HDD: Seagate barracuda 500gb

i’m mainly having issues with Tom Clancy’s The Divison and Overwatch, all my drivers are up to date

Check if dust has built up on ur pc components or on heatsinks.
It could be a faulty hdd.

After checking driver updates etc. You also said temps were normal under load.
Check component usage under load (individual cores, not just the whole package of CPU too) and see if you're getting a bottleneck somewhere.
If you see a bottleneck, see what's taking up the resource in resource monitor.
