bottlenecks i need help

ok so i have almost everything for my upgrade here is the list so far;
cpu: intel i5 3350p
Ram: 16 gb kingston
Case: zalman z11 plus + corsair fans
Psu: Corsair 850W Rm series
Storage: 256 gb ssd samsung evo + 1tb seagate

now heres the problem i'm thinking of getting an z77 g-43 mobo and an r9 series Gpu. The gpu will be either an r9 270x, r9 280x or r9 290x. But which will fit my specs (right now the 280x and the 290 is the same price at amazon and has already dropped as an pre-black friday)

Is your question on whether your CPU will bottleneck any of those GPUs? I don't think so. As for which GPU you should get, I'd say go for the $250 R9 290 unless you see something better.

if you're dead set on an r9 (970s FTW) definitely go for the best you can, that I5 wouldn't bottleneck 2 of them 290X.

ok beacause i dont know how good that cpu is since theres already 4 & 5 gen and i7
and is there another graphic card in that price range thats better?

I would say either go for the $141 Powercolor R9 280, the $250 ASUS R9 290, or the $330 EVGA AVC 2.0 GTX 970.

If you're upgrading, is there a reason you're opting for the z77 and 3350p rather than a z97 and 4690k? Maybe it's just my personal preference but I think you would be better off with a wd hard drive over the seagate. Depending what your budget is, wd has a 1tb black with a 5yr warranty.

im upgrading so the 3350p and the seagate is something i already have 🙂

I'm assuming a LGA 1155 motherboard if OP is looking at Ivy Bridge CPUs.

Don't go for 16GB RAM though if you're just a gamer. Games aren't using more than 6GB of RAM right now. Your money would be better spent in a better CPU or GPU.

Your upgrade list should be:

CPU: i5-3570K
GPU: R9 290
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 (very good airflow, no need for extra fans)

and my friend already has that case and personally i think it's a bit loud. the case i bought didnt need extra fans but i bought some with blue led which was super queit
