[SOLVED] Bought a graphics card for my system, no perfomance improvements what so ever

Before I start here are my specs:

I3-9100 4 cores @ 3.60Ghz
Gigabyte Geforce GT 710 2GB Graphics Card
MSI MAG-Z390 Tomahawk
Viper 4 2 sticks of 4gb DDR4 3000mhz
Thermaltake Smart 600w ATX 12v

My system really isn't anything special by all means, I don't expect it to run things amazingly, but I was using the CPUs integrated graphics before, and after installing my graphics card, I see no improvements whatsoever in a game i was trying to run. I was trying to run Rainbow Six Siege, and before on all low settings I was getting around 50fps on the benchmark, and after getting my graphics card I'm still getting the same performance. I've googled and tried everything I've seen but nothing has done anything.

The GT710 is quite an old card and integrated graphics 630 on the 9100 beats it in games and benchmarks.

Did you connect your display to the graphics card output? The GT710 is essentially an onboard graphics replacement and not so much an upgrade. About the only thing going for it is that it has it's own graphics memory.

You have a good enough CPU and power supply to get a card that will actually be better than onboard video, 750Ti is a good card to buy used now, it's still fast enough to act as a lower end gaming card if you don't want to buy something like a 1030.
