i bought the 4090 today for 1799 new. got it today and then before opening i was reading that a 5090 is very likely in January 2025. Should i wait till then to just get the 5090 and return my 4090 now?

this is what i have now (below) i was just gonna upgrade my gpu. but after i read online about new cpu's like 9800x3d coming in November and 5090 in January im thinking maybe i should return the 4090 and wait till January and just build a new pc with that cpu and gpu and sell my current machine then. what do yall think i should do?

What do you tax your system with at this moment of time? Granted I think it was a late move on your part to invest on the RTX4090 since you already had an RTX4080, so in essence you performed a horizontal upgrade as opposed to a vertical upgrade.

How much would the seller cut away in terms of restocking fee?

For some edge uses, yes.
Mostly, no.

What do you use this system for?

(and do pay attention to your Classified)
