I use to use 2 2tb hard drives but I have bought a new SSD. (sata) how do I move my C: drive files to the SSD?
If he is just changing drives, there is no need for a new Windows license.bro dont go through hell... Just buy a Windows key, remove your other storage devices from your laptop, and put in the new SSD. Then boot from a USB with Microsoft on it and install.
What size/make/model is the new SSD?I use to use 2 2tb hard drives but I have bought a new SSD. (sata) how do I move my C: drive files to the SSD?

Well if you have the same issue I had, where the SSD would not want to become the boot drive, have fun with diskpart and bcdboot commands. If he is just changing drives, there is no need for a new Windows license.
