Bought completely new microsd and card reader but my computer can\'t read it a a

So that's my question. I need to know how to connect my new microsd and card reader into my computer. I've tried all the USB ports on my computer. I have no other computer. Please, I would like to transfer some info to be put into my phone. Thanks.

Go into Device Manager & uninstall all the USB Hubs in turn, starting with the lowest one in the list (right-click > Uninstall).

Now restart Windows & it will re-install all the hubs it detects.

If that doesn't fix it, the USB ports themselves may be faulty.
