Bought New Motherboard.

Ok, I bought a new CPU two days ago, an FX6300. Went to install it but my old motherboard couldn't support it so I bought a Gigabyte 970A-UD3P. I installed the CPU, unplugged everything from my old mobo, plugged it all into the new one but got nothing. All I seem to manage to get is the fans running but no display, now my old motherboard is doing the same thing. Fans running but now display or sound (beeps).

PSU is ATX-500B, and GPU is GTX 750Ti.

does graphics card have the power leads plugged in? Also factory reset the board.

how are you connecting to the monitor? hdmi? vga? dvi?

I'm using a DVI cable for the monitor. When I use the new mobo no lights come on but the fans run. When I use the old mobo the power switch led turns on and the fans run but thats it.

what the old make and model motherboard? sound like you forgot a power cable somewhere on the new one. or that your exist PSU is not up to it.

Old mobo is: gigabyte ga-f2a55m-hd2.

Ok, for some reason my old mobo decided to turn on and power up. I'm using it right now, I didn't actually move any wires about or anything so not sure what has happened.
