Bought new PC no signal

Hello, I bought a new desktop and a new monitor, but when a turn on the pc and the monitor it says "no signal", when I tried to connect the monitor to mine laptop it worked, the pc is new neither the windows or the drives are installed. Help me pls.

Make sure you have plugged into the right connection on the back of the PC. If the motherboard has onboard graphics those ports won't work with the GTX 1060.

Most monitors auto detect the signal but have you tried using the OSD menu to make sure it is set to the same port as the cable you plugged in ?

Where is the monito cable plugged in ?

Monitor <==> 1060 GFX card

or

Monitor <==> MoBo IGP Port


Before RMAing the thing, suggest you call tech Support and save yaself a lot of trouble. Most times issues are resolved in 5 minutes or less

did you remove gpu when you plug it in the board if not try to plug to gpu output since onboard could be disable if you have a gpu in system .

You need to plug it into the graphics card, that's the onboard graphics that you have it plugged into.

Yep, you've plugged the monitor in to the on-board HDMI port (which is disabled when another GPU is detected) instead of the HDMI port on the GTX 1060. Easy mistake to make if you've never built a PC or fitted your own graphics card before.

If, however, you do want to use that on-board HDMI port instead (but why would you?), just shut down and remove the GTX 1060.
