I am building a PC and have bought most of the parts. I have purchased the Gigabyte X570 AORUS Elite motherboard. It is time to figure out what case to buy. The Neon colors don't matter to me but ease of maintenance does . I will not overclock so I don't know if a cooler factors in the size of the case.

I still am struggling with the GPU and haven't chosen one yet due to the RTX 3070 - 90 hysteria right now. I have heard, however that there might be issues with motherboard/case combinations and the RTX not fitting in the machine. Is this true?

What is a great case and fans combination to keep the system chilled? Thanks in advance.

Solution
Since choosing a PC case is personal choice, pick the one that you like the most.

What is a great case and fans combination to keep the system chilled?
Well, any case that has meshed/grilled front panel is good for proper airflow and cooling of the PC. And for fan combination: front & bottom - intake; top & rear - exhaust. Also, 140mm (same spec) fan moves more air and does it more quietly than the 120mm fan. So, when possible, get a case that supports 140mm fans all around.

While i can suggest specific cases based on my own personal opinion of their beauty and practicality, my taste may not agree with yours and in the end, it's your PC case, not mine.

I'm one of the few who prefers full-tower ATX cases over mid-tower ATX cases and thanks to this, my Skylake and Haswell builds sit in a full-tower ATX cases from Corsair. To be more specific: Skylake is in Corsair 760T V2 Black and Haswell is in Corsair 750D Airflow Edition. Also, i have aftermarket Demciflex filter kits on both of them for dust catching.

As far as both cases go, both are perfect for my needs. Lots of internal space, easy to work in, plenty of 3.25" external bays, great cable management, superb airflow, compatibility with Demciflex custom filters, great looking, and the list goes on and on.
