Hi there, i just signed up to let you know something is broken on the site. Within a few seconds of looking at any page on the site i get a full page question "if answered correctly etc" and where to go next, before ive even started to read the page.

The links provided redirect to some other domain beofre returning here and sometimes i get malware domain warnings from a/v due to these redirects.

Im using Adblock Plus but this spam popups are still happening and is more invasive than some dodgy porn site popups and spam while using Internet Explorer.

I hope that bounce exchange wasnt intentional as it seems a dirty bottom of barrel scraping scheme. Even reading the product info shows its all about deceiving and confusing viewers into getting another page/ad hit when they are done at the site.

What is this BS?

^ Agreed. Run a complete antivirus scan and a Malwarebytes scan and I bet the problem is on your end.

Na ive ran a scan on the pc and my laptop using a different A/V and they both come up clean.

Even downloading the page source using 3g on my phone shows the problem is coming from the server and theres several other posts with the same issues.

That bounce exchange seems a legitimate (tho underhanded) service but why would Toms put such an invasive piece of crap on the site that spams on every page and blocks the pages within a few seconds of arriving?

We did have some bounce management pop-ups enabled earlier in December, but those were set to expire. Moreover, none of them would send a user to another non-Tom's site - they were all references internal to threads here on Tom's. If this is happening to you, and it's on our end, we do apologize. I'll ping the devs and see if there's some residual code from this still out there. As an aside, by registering here, you'll no longer see that as an issue.

Just to follow-up on this, after investigation, the Bounce Exchange item that was visible to non-registered users never, at any point, directed users off of Tom's Hardware. If you were seeing this, and the item was sending you elsewhere, it could be a strong indicator that you've been afflicted with a type of malware/spyware infestation that is hijacking links in your browser.
