I built my PC and was getting ready to turn it on for the first time with Win11 USB ready and plugged in. I turn it on and NO POWER. no LED, No light, no flashing indicator, no beep whatsoever.

I disconnected everything (including RAM, SSDs, etc.) except for CPU Power and ATX 24-PIN. Still No Power whatsoever. The Mobo has two CPU power connections, I have mine connected to the first one. The ATX Power is secure the latch.

Motherboard: MSI MPG Z7900 Edge Wifi (Brand New)
CPU: Intel i7 12700K (Brand New)
PSU: Thermaltake GF1 850 (Brand New)

What should be my next steps?

I am really bummed out right now. I have already had to RMA my original Gigabyte mobo because it had damaged CPU socket.

Please advise.

I did a JFP1 short and the computer came on. I plugged the power switch connector back on and computer turned on. The power switch cable properly plugged in so I don't know what manual short did. But things are looking good and I just finished installing Win11.

its possible you had the positive and negative backwards on those pins ive done it myself and not had the pc turn on.

there isnt a standard for that jfp1 connector so the power and reset can be on different pins which is why the manual is needed lol.
