Hi , freshly built a pc for quarantine, it was fine on initial weeks of build, however, I was recently encountering this problem where my PC automatically cuts power like this. I am unable to reboot the PC until i turn off and on the PSU switch, and wait around couple minutes before it boots again.
I suspected a PSU failure so I had it checked out at the place I bought at. The workers said voltage it outputs was fine and load test was also showing no problems.
The problem presents it self during idle (YouTube) and during games
I have undergo more tests checking my HDD and SSD using HD Tune and crystal discmark, and Ram using passmark memtest. With no errors showing.
Thus, I left my PC on idle with minimal load (YouTube calming music and roblox over night to which it did not show the problem by the time I woke up, and proceeded to not show up for 2 days consistently, however. After the two days. The problems showed up again
I am starting to think it’s a semi fried motherboard but since it’s still quarantine here I am unable to bring my rig to get it RMA’ed at the place I bought bc quarantine.
It’s getting annoying now since it’s cutting off during games and I would like to find out what the problem is.
Thanks
