Hi Guys,

Early June I bought a Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED because I wanted a good laptop for gaming and to watch videos/content in 4k.
Since I wasn't interested in any game recently, I haven't used it yet for gaming and just used it as a regular laptop (watching videos, doing some Excel, reading mangas...). But since I bought it for gaming I still tried to launch a few games I had to see how it looked on a 4k screen. So I launched 2 games I liked, World of Warcraft Cataclysm (a 2011 game) and The Forest (a 2014 or 2015 game) - those two games being quite old I wasn't surprised to see my PC showing me extremely high FPS with all graphic options maxed out (I had like more than 1k fps on Wow if i remember well).

The problem is that now, for some crazy reason, barely 40 days after buying it, it's not able to run anything. I wanted to check something on one of those games and when I logged I almost fainted, I had around 15 fps on WoW ... I thought maybe it was a problem with the game or something, so I also tried the Forest and was shocked to see that I had around 20-25 fps MAX.
Do you know what might be wrong with my PC? I'm sure it's something software related, because there is no way a last gen gaming PC would struggle to handle dinosaures like the games I tried.
Thanks a lot for your help.

My laptop specs:
NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design
Integrated Graphics is Intel Ultra HD (couldnt find the exact name)
Intel I7-10875H @2.30 GHz
16 Gb RAM DDR4 2933 GHz
512 Gb SSD (with 325Gb of free space)

Yeah 1k fps but it wasn't the latest expansion, I'm a fan of private servers and I was running an expansion that was released around 2011 (so I was not THAT surprised to have ginormous fps). My laptop is plugged don't worry, it was the first thing I checked :(
Thanks for your answer man but I believe I got 3 problems:

1) How come that when I launched the game 1 month ago I had 1k fps but then now I have 15 with the same settings (there is no reason for it to have used by default the best graphic card then swap to the weakest one by itself 1month later) ==> so I'm afraid there's a deeper problem.

2) I don't know why but my PC starts breathing like a sexual predator since a few days ago, right now I'm only using Chrome with nothing running in the background but my PC is in overdrive mode with noisy fans and hot air blowing everywhere. And it's like burning hot while just 10 days ago I would feel a fresh and silent breeze from it.

3) I tried switching the default graphic card to my Nvidia card but it just made the game crash.... (regarding wow) - For the Forest I'm like at 35fps (if my memory is right when I got my PC it was prolly at 200 or more)

Run this a post a link to the results it sounds like you have a cooling issue and might need to return it since it's just 40 days old.
