Question Brand new PC wont find my network but finds neighbors, why oh why?

So, I bought a new PC, a Skytech Gaming - Chronos Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER - 1TB SSD - White and of course it only took a good 3 minutes before I ran into an issue. My PC cant find my network, it will find my neighbors but not mine. My wifi is connected to all other devices in my house. I have made sure the broadcast isnt hidden, bot 2.4 ghz and 5ghz are enabled on my modem which by the way is a Xfi Gateway modem from comcast. So its a new modem. Does anybody have some advice? Ive done a numerous amount of research and tried so many things and nothing has worked so far.

I trust you have at least power reset the router? Just want to rule out Step 1

I would manually connect to it type in the network name and the credentials. If that doesn’t work contact Comcast

Yes, I have done all the simple things. My SSID isnt hidden, Ive tried updating drivers, ive deleted the wireless driver and reset computer etc etc

So you believe this is a modem issue most likely?

That would rule it out plus you have support usually the tech make sure that you’re connected before they leave your house

Well crazy enough I just changed it from 802.11 g/n/ax to 802.11 g/n and my PC found the network.

That’s not crazy at all your Wi-Fi card couldn’t handle it at those settings
