Hi,

I am trying to use Brasero under Ubuntu (LIve pendrive) to backup some files.

I managed to save a couple of folders, but when I try to add a folder Brasero wants to erase to disk. How can I add files using Brasero?

There is plenty of room on the disk

Thanks

You needed to have create a multi-session disk in order to do what you want.

In Brasero, before you burn you should change the 'Data Project Options' and then select 'Leave the disc open to add other files later'
Once that is done, you can burn and add more files later.

You will of course need to erase the disk first in order to change it from a single session format to a multi-session one.

Thanks for responding.

I have erased the folders and have a blank CD-RW.

I can't see the 'Data Project Options'.

If it matters, I am using Brasero from a livependrive (Ubuntu 12.04.2).

Best wishes.

UPDATE.

I have found some options when burning.

There is a box that leaves the CD open.
