So my breaker just tripped, causing everything in the room to power off. My PC is connected to a decent surge protector and outlets on it are still working with other devices. But for some reason my PC isn't turning back on. I have a Super Flower Leadex iii 750w psu but I'm not sure what the protection features on it are. I'm hoping this hasn't bricked my system that I just built a month ago. I've been recommended to just let the PC sit for an hour or so unconnected and then it will turn on.Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
If it still doesn’t work when you try it then the next step would be trying another psu. It’s possible it was the psu failing that tripped the breaker.

I really hope playing league of legends on a 750w gold didn't cause it to fail lol. If so, this psu is straight garbage. Gonna give it till tomorrow then try again. Very sad rn lol, saved up for so long and then a month after the build, this happens.

It’s a good psu but any component can have a fault that leads to premature failure. If it is the psu at least the system should be protected by the psu warranty.

Just check again this morning, did wire test and everything. seems to be bricked. submitted rma for replacement, using old psu until replacement gets here. is there any tool or anything I can use to check if my psu bricking broke anything else in the PC?

Just run some cpu and gpu benchmarks. If everything seems ok then it’s very likely there was no damage. One of the benefits of a high quality psu is it has protection to minimise the chance of damage if it suffers a failure.
