Hey i've been reading all over the forums on how to flash your bios back to the older one. i don't remember what bios i had.
right now i have d/led a few tools.
GPUz Winflash ati, and RBE

Ok so i have a MSI 5850 1bg and Its not posting video. I flashed my other GPU the asus one no problems and i tried to flash the msi one and i forgot to save the bios. I have d/led all the bios from tech power up. and none seem to work.
this is what i'm doing,

Open zgpu to see if my video card is on. then i open winflash by right click run as admin. then load the rom and wait for computer to reboot. reboot then i turn off the computer. shut it down and swap the card into the 1st pcie slot.



my computer setup where i am trying to fix the gpu on is
core 2 duo 2.13
asus p5n-d
4gb ddr800 ram
corsair 600w power supply
2.5 sata hd
1 case fan
x1650 pro (to flash bios in windows)
msi hd 5850 1gb

no dvd rom installed.

am i missing a step in the process?

is it possible to undo what i have done to the video card?

I'm not sure. Is it possible for you to use another form of video as your computer is turned on and flash the bios of your card in question?

i read somewhere it's possible, since i have 2 pcie slots i can load windows on my x1600 and when i click on gpuz it shows the x1600 and the 5850 as a secondary card. i have also seen videos on youtube that it's possible but the guy used a PCI card. heres the link.
