Unless they are remotely controlling an arm with 3d goggle for keyhole surgery.

I have news for AT&T. It hit North Central Missouri, zip 64658 Monday night. And has been ongoing since. We were down most of the day yesterday. Have not had home phone since Monday night. Today, we were down 4 hrs. Not expecting up time to be much longer.

No phone, no help online from AT&T.

I find it funny the article says customers experience brief, 30 second interruptions. We are totaling close to 18hrs from 9PM Monday, to 830AM Wed, Nov 09, 2011. This doesn't account for time we are asleep.

Home phone has been gone since, at least when we discovered it, 9PM Monday November 07, 2011 to present 850AM November 09, 2011.

[citation][nom]Article[/nom]Link-shortening service bit.ly, CBS Interactive and RIM's BlackBerry service were just a few websites and online services that suffered an interruption thanks to the network outages across the globe. But as of Tuesday morning, the internet seemed to be up and running as usual. That said, the brief glitch caused by the router update on Monday leads us to wonder just how easy it would be for a terrorist to take down the entire global internet by injecting a malicious update. Scary.[/citation]

Please don't give the terrorists ideas

[citation][nom]blade061188[/nom]A little sensationalist to jump from a 30 second downtime due to a firmware update, to terrorist attack...[/citation]
You know they're going to use this as an argument for nazi-like control over the internet. How do you think they're going to find support for it? Journalists.
