Bright spots on Dell U2417H monitor

I recently purchased a Dell U2417H. Got this directly from Dell Canada. I noticed after a week that there are some bright spots from the monitor. Not really noticeable but it's been bugging me ever since. It's visible on bright colors especially white. It's located on the middle lower left portion of the screen. Here is a sample image:

Should I call Dell about this? I'm mainly concerned if I will be in charge of paying the shipping in case they approve it.

I found some solutions in the Internet but afraid to try as it might affect my warranty.

If you warranty it, you will get a refurbished one sadly.
I would simply return it, you are still within the 14day return period I hope, then buy another one. The Ultrasharp series are usually very good. I have 22" myself.
