Hi all
I have an overclockers gaming PC which is less than a year old and a Samsung monitor manufactured in 2014.
This morning when I switched the system on I noticed a probem with the display.
The screen is very dull at the top and bottom , so dull as to be almost unreadable and has a band of almost normal brightness across the centre of the display.
When I toggle the monitor off and on again it reverts to normal brightness for about half a second and then drops off again.
I have tried resetting the monitor to factory settings and adjusting the brightness manually but neither has helped.
Also tried a new HDMI cable.
Display adapter is GeForce RTX 4060 Ti
Any help would be much appreciated
