Hi everyone, I have an ASUS Rog Strix G16 which is just over a month old. I had an odd problem today with changing the brightness settings. I have two display adaptors which are up to date:

1. Intel UHD Graphics
2. NVIDIA GeForce 4070 GPU

When I pressed the brightness up and down buttons, the indicator pops up on screen on Windows 11, but the brightness didn't change. I think I have had this problem once before since purchasing, but a simple restart worked which after troubleshooting worked again today.

Does anyone have any advice? Is this is a major issue? Not really sure what to do. It seems to me maybe it's just a temporary glitch rather than hardware issue?

Thanks.

Temp Glitch. Kinda happened to me after switching out my 60hz panel with a 120Hz on my 2017 Predator Helios 300.
Thank you very much, that's re-assured me a lot as I was a bit concerned - but it makes sense as it was put into sleep, then I plugged and unplugged where it goes from 240hz to 60hz and then plugged back in.

It seems to me that modern technology is so advanced that half the time it doesn’t work properly!
