BRINGING A 220Volts DESKTOP AND MONITOR TO AMERICA THAT USES 110Volts (HELP!)
Hello friends :)
I'm bringing a desktop and monitor (that I bought in India) to America, I'm going back to the US to finish my High School and my parents work for a company in India, they don't want to spend like 900$ on a brand new laptop or computer. So they want me to bring my 220V Gaming Desktop and monitor to America and the problem is that America uses 110V 🙁
What do I do? Do I buy some type of Voltage Converter? Could you guys please recommend me something?

Sadly my computer does not have a auto-switching option for the Power Supply Unit. I'm using the Cooler Master 450W PSU.
But i'm not sure if my screen has the option, I'm using the SyncMaster SA300, here is a link for it https://www.bestbuybusiness.com/bbfb/en/US/adirect/bestbuy?cmd=catProductDetail&productID=BB11516537&operation=Specs

Will I need some type of voltage converter for the PC? and possibly for the monitor? I'll do some research to see if the monitor can switch volts.

Which specific model CM 450? Some are auto, some may have a switch on the back.

Could you recommend a link or something for me to buy for the voltage converter? I don't think i'll need a 1000W Transformer.
My PC has a 450W Power supply and my monitor uses 30W, so that's like 480W in total. Maybe like a 500W Or 600W transformer would be good for me?

I'm using the GX Bronze 450W PSU. Besides the Power On/Off button, I don't see any type of switch for volts on the back of the PSU.

The monitor is autoswitching (well, it's external power unit is). I don't think I've ever seen a computer that doesn't have a switch to allow you to select the input voltage (except those that switch automatically). I would forget about transformers. IMO all you need are a couple of new power leads. Check the manual for your PSU to check about how to set the volatage, or just look for a little slide switch near the power inlet.

Autoswitching:
Input Voltage 90-264Vac (Auto Range)
