I had not used my pc in a while and recently took out my cpu because i was not thinking at the time that i could possibly bend the pins and then set it up recently and nothing would show on the monitor then i opened up my pc and took the cpu out again to see that there were bent pins on it. So my question is if i replace my cpu will my pc start to work? Also some pins had fallen off so there was no straightening the pins out sgain.

Well, bent pins is obviously going to stop things working but I can't guarantee that this is the only problem with your PC. It's worth trying (carefully) to bend the pins straight.

I guess the question that you should address is how they got bent. It sounds like you did something very wrong - you want to make sure you don't do the something with a new CPU. Perhaps you can find a really cheap, compatible CPU on eBay just to test that things are still working.

Yes, if you replace your CPU with another CPU that is compatible with your motherboard, your PC should work. That is of course, if everything else is in working condition.

What are the Specs of your PC?

Since you specified pins fell off there is a high chance your processor is done.
There are some specific pins that dont necessarily have to be in use, but that dosent mean your processor is done for.

I would recommend a replacement, or a temporary processor to ensure everything else is working properly.

Gonna need a new CPU if the pins are busted off. How did you manage that? You've got to be more careful with PC parts when assembling/taking apart. Also make sure since some pins are "missing" that they didn't break off inside the CPU socket slots themselves.
