[SOLVED] Broken AMD CPU socket edge

WHen I was asssembling my new PC using Gigabyte X 570 Aorus Master and Ryzen 9 , I accidentally pulled the lever too much when opening it. Then suddenly the edge of the plastic part oft he socket came off. The CPU locks in fine and the PC works ok. Will this be a problem. Please see the image. I have circled the part which came off. Thanks

Most likely it won't. If it works fine, then it works. If anything, the pressure from the cooler will keep it in place

Thanks for the reply. Thats what I am thinking too. The plastic panel slides through and locked in as usual. I am wondering what is this small plastic part do?? is that to prevent the lever falling back?

Pretty sure it just has a spring for the arm
