Hi members,
So I have problem in here. I have broken two pins on my biostar motherboard. It is a G31D-M7. According to the information I have got about the cpu socket, the broken pins are a Vcc and a Vtt pin. The problem I am facing is the display goes off after a few minutes and the hhd activity light stops blinking. Any help or solution would be appreciated
Specs
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400@3.00ghz
3 gb ram@667 mhz
Biostar g31d-m7
Samsung 320gb hdd 7200rpm

Unfortunately....I know of no easy way to repair those pins.

Vcc is one of the main power supply pins.

Vtt is for the memory controller.

Both are very important.

Maybe someone has a good way to fix these....if they do, I want to hear how.

I think you may need a new motherboard.

I can't afford a new mobo. BTW my system powers up but the display stays only for a few minutes
Only one vtt pin is affected so it shouldn't affect the ram slot if i am using only one slot. I have read that there are many vcc pins on the socket so damaging one should not be a part of the problem
