I bought an used mobo and when I got home I found a few bent pins. I straight em up, but theres one or two that dont hace the pin heads (The golden contact with The CPU, they're shorter)

The thing is, the mobo is working, I installed Windows and all that. Is it possible that its at 100%? Do the pins get pushed by the cpu?(then they wouldnt be short). Its a sandy bridge btw

Solution
since its working i assume the terminals are still intact.usually its most likely to fry you mobo or CPU in case of short terminal..

if its working fine dont worry about it.and never the take out the cpu ever again:no: just in case to avoid the risk of short circuit

PS: all cpu pins are required to be intact for functioning of the computer perfectly, it will not work if the pins are not intact
