[SOLVED] Broken PCIE Lever

So I was preparing to remove a GPU to replace it with another when I somehow managed to snap the little piece of plastic that locks that card in place right off. The card is currently still locked in. Will this be an issue when I proceed to replace the card or will I just have to unlock it by somehow moving the base of the lever?

I'm not sure how the card is "still locked in" if you snapped off the mechanism that locks it in, but it's not an issue. If there is still some piece of the lever remaining, it should move on its own or pop out altogether when you go to remove the card.

Yeah all that popped off was just the end that you use to grab. The base is still there and hopefully some of the lever. I think I get what you're saying. Thanks!

Yeah, I did something similar on my own board, wasn't a problem!
