Question Broken Touchpad Buttons?

I’ve had a touchpad button which is flimsy, still works but it’s dropped and doesn’t click as well, recently have just had to take my laptop apart to repair a laptop charging port and have now found out what’s broken on the laptop buttons.

It appears the little plastic hook but on the back of the button has snapped off… I’ve been searching around for replacement buttons but can’t seem to find anything, baring in mind this laptop is about 8+ years old.

It’s a ASUS K53S, I have attached some images of the broken part. What would your guys suggestions be apart from ‘buy a new laptop’.
