Question Broken USB 3.0 pin.

Two pins on my new Asus Maximus XI Hero's USB 3.0 connector were either bent out of the box or the cases USB 3.0 plug was faulty and bent them. Upon trying to straighten them one simply broke off. Diagrams indicate the damaged pin is pin 10, the ID pin but upon looking in the XI Hero manual the manual says it is a ground pin. Should I be concerned about this missing pin?

Reconnect the plug for the USB3.0 header and see if you get any errors. I've had a friend who bent one pin but the ports were running fine.

FYI, the board didn't come with a bent pin, you inserted the connector at an odd angle hence why that edge bent.
